have
had top twenty songs twice, and are currently heard on Christian
radio nationwide.
In 1983 Bruce began preaching revivals, crusades, and Bible
conferences. Many engagements were forfeited because of the
group's extensive concert schedule. In 1985 Bruce & Connie's
daughters were added to the program. Kelly, 18, has been singing
and quoting entire chapters from the Bible on stage with mom
and dad since those early years. The girls have recorded eight
albums, and have appeared on albums with the Northams, the Speers,
Dave Clark, the Grammy Award winning, Christian song writer,
and on two Gaither Homecoming videos.
In 1990, the Northams decided to concentrate on ministry. Their
ministry grew to include more revivals, crusades, and family
seminars. In addition to their concerts, European tour, and
30-35 revivals each year, the Northams spend two weeks each
summer in Nashville, teaching at Treveca University for the
STAMPS-BAXTER SCHOOL OF MUSIC. |

The
Northams’ music has always been a "ministry"
not just a "vocation". Their concern is seeing lives
changed, not the awards they win, or the amount of money they
make. "Winning souls is the most important thing in the
world to us", says Bruce. "We have been called to
minister, instruct, uplift, encourage, and evangelize. All we
want is to be obedient to the call". They are. Home |
